AMERICARNA GOES SOUTH

Tuesday 14th July 2009

Americarna is running two events in 2010, New Plymouth February 24th - 27th where we will once again cruise the Taranaki Province and Invercargill March 24th - 27th where we will cruise Invercargill and the surrounding Southland District.

Its the first time Americarna ventures out of Taranaki and Americarna Invercargill is promised to be a fantastic event.  It will be the first time Southerners get to experience the thrill of Americarna and what a show they are in for.  And for all you entrants, we are offering you the opportunity to join in on a spectacular rod run from the bottom of the North to the bottom of the South!!

How exciting is this!!  We will be driving in convoy from Wellington to Invercargill, with various 'join up' points along the way.

Our South Island event will start in Wellington Monday 22nd March 2010, with an early morning ferry crossing (we're hoping for over 100 American cars at this point) stopping in Blenheim for lunch to allow the Nelson/Blenheim cars to join the North Island cars en route to Invercargill.

The first night 22nd March, we stay in Christchurch with a buffet dinner at the Latimer Hotel.  Tuesday morning 23rd we head to Dunedin to stay the night stopping in Timaru for lunch.

Wednesday morning 24th, we head to Invercargill where the event kicks off officially that afternoon with a visit to a very special private museum and finishes Saturday 27th with a Country Fair and the Saturday night entrant function.

We hope you can join us for this exciting South Island event.  You wouldn't want to miss out.

Entry forms will be available on our website in September.
