Hi one and all! Its been crazy at the Americarna Office. We wanted you people to hear the news first ... Its official .... Americarna has secured its second event in Invercargill for the last week in March 2010!!
So you can now attend Taranaki in the last week of February and a month later, you can join the cruise down to the Invercargill event. Both events will be the same format that we currently run, but different. Sounds double dutch? We know what we mean. The August issue of NZ Hot Rod Magazine has the press release.
We still have a couple of things in the pipeline for the Taranaki event that will be awesome. We are just waiting for a couple of contracts to arrive back from the US before I can let you know. We're 99% confident of one plan going ahead so don't leave it too long to book your accommodation and register for the event or you will be disappointed.
The Mustang we brought is off to Invercargill so we needed another car for Taranaki. Pleased to announce we have purchased a 1964 Ford Galaxie Two Post. So, we're happy with the two cars we have to give away.
Speaking of cars .... HELP! Many of the cars listed on our Cars For Sale Section on the website have sold! So we require more to sell. Therefore, if you know someone with an american vehicle or hot rod for sale get them to list it on our website. It's still free and the cars are selling.
Only a few weeks to go until the official Americarna Tour to GoodGuys Westcoast Street Rod Nationals departs. We have 32 people coming, so that's a good result. Everything is in place now and we're looking forward to having a good time and enjoying great cars etc.
We will post more info on both events in due course. At least you heard it from the horses mouth.
