After the 2009 Event in February we received a large number of emails giving us feedback from the event. All the feedback was great to receive and we really appreciate those who took the time to write in to us. We thought we would share a few photos and some of the comments we recevied....Photo by Digital Story.
From Neil and Betty Johnson:
Dear John and the Team, Neil and I would like to thank-you for the great time we had at Americarna. It was the best run event we have ever been to. We thought we might feel out of it in our 1937 V8 Coupe, but everywhere we went we felt right in the middle of everything. Once again thanks, we will certainly be back next year. Sincerely - Betty Johnson.

From Daryl & Tristin McCoard:
We have been home from Americarna 2009 for a week now, and we are still excited to recall all our great memories of that week we spent in New Plymouth. We were really impressed with the great organisation of the whole event and Daryl and I, and our children had simply the BEST time. Taranaki people are so welcoming and hospitable, and I think it's just great the way the public embrace's Americarna. It blew us away. Please pass this email onto John Rae and all the other staff that helped put this great event together. We will definately be back next year. Our accommodation has already been booked! Once again, Many thanks - Daryl & Tristin McCoard.

My Husband and myself, along with several other couples from the Bay of Plenty attended the Americarna festival last week. I just want to say how much we enjoyed ourselves and to congratulate the whole organising committee on what an excellent job you all did in putting it all together and run the whole festival. We realise it is a huge job in organising and running such an event to make it enjoyable for everyone. CONGRATULATIONS - a job well done and we will definately be back again next year. Kind regards - Lois & Graham Thrupp.

From Richard Wright:
Dear Toni, I would like to take this opportunity to thank yourself, John Rae and the rest of the Americarna Team for what I thought, along with many others, was an absolutely outstanding four days of American history and culture. I have attended many overseas car shows and events and I have never witnessed or seen the enthusiasm, enjoyment and dedication that a community such as New Plymouth hold towards Americarna. Congratulations on an awesome, well organised and dedicated team for the running of the 2009 Americarna. I look forward to again being a part of the 2010 Americarna. Many thanks - Richard Wright.
From Gloria Oliver & Ted Williams:
Good morning to JR, Bob and the team, Thank you for a fantastic Americarna 2009. We had a blast. I want to congratulate you on the event and the team of what seems to be hundreds of people who have managed the event. All those people on checkpoints giving directions are amazing. And the finale, well what talent in that young man you had entertaining us. He was fabulous, and of course the return of the girls. I hope you now have time to take a break for yourselves and catch your breath. Our thanks for your energy and committment. Take care - Gloria Oliver & Ted Williams.
