On Friday 16th October Americarna NZ Ltd was rewarded with the Emerging Business and the Tourism & Hospitality Awards at the 2009 Westpac Taranaki Chamber of Commerce Business Awards.
Naturally the team was thrilled with the awards which recognise the significant impact Americarna has on tourism and to the hospitality sector in Taranaki. This award, we acknowledge, was only possible with the support of our entrants and the enthusiasm of the whole Taranaki community.
With Barry Meguiar and his film crew here in 2010 along with Fletch from Classic Restos, Taranaki and those here with their pride and joy will again show the world just how car crazy we are. As mentioned previously, Fletch will be back in March as will Kirk Jones to cover the run to Invercargill. The team are working away to insure both events run smoothly and have some surprises planned that you should enjoy. More on this at a later date.
I'm about to do the New Plymouth to Christchurch run to sort out all that is needed for this section of the trip. Toni 2 and Bob have already done the Christchurch to Invercargill run.
