What a busy week! Last Thursday night there were long plastic drop sheets everywhere in the workshop and the engine bay was primed. Friday night at 6.00pm the engine bay was sanded (by Andrew), Fish n Chips for tea, then paitning, not finishing up until 11.30pm. Saturday.........
.....sanded the engine bay, applied two coats of clear, then after everything settled we pulled all the plastic down and cleaned the shop. The paint products used from Total Paints look great - email tony@totalpaints.co.nz for any info on what was used. I left the workshop at 1.05am Sunday morning after bolting some of the suspension stuff followed by another long day Sunday.
Wayne's been at it all week fitting the balance of the chassis works products. Very happy with the progress so far. We have had some hold ups on the parts coming from the USA which is frustrating. The engine is now at Engine Dynamics to have the water pump changed to accept the March Performance pully kit, sump changed to fit and fit the fuel injection, so hopefully we get all that stuff before christmas.
More photo's next week. The Mustang should have all the brakes plumbed, bleed and on wheels.
