Another challenging week for Engine Dynamics! Well the motor is now in the car as the photo shows. The exhaust system that Hoggy has built looks unreal. I had the opportunity to look at the car Wednesday afternoon when I was in Auckland.
There are some concerns as pointed out by Craig and Hoggy regarding the clutch. It would seem the Tremac input spline is undersize which makes the clutch plate rather loose on the spline. The supplier has assured us it is fine however Engine Dynamics and I have some concerns. Never mind, we will install it against our combined concerns.
Still to be completed by Engine Dynamics are the throttle cable, radiator hoses, radiator top mount, heater hoses, power steer lines and a few other minor tasks.
So with the amount of work to be completed by C & M Performance on wiring and Kelly on Trim, I'm not that hopeful it will be finished for Americarna Taranaki. However, I haven't given up hope yet!
So lets see how next weeks update looks.
