Hi Everyone, we talked last week about the way the Business Community is behind AmeriCARna and the buzz around the city with its welcome return after a year off, well the trend continues.......
Warner Construction Ltd is an Engineering / Construction based company in Waitara and is very active in the Oil and Gas industry in the Taranaki region and beyond. Director Alan Warner has a selection of American iron and we are exceptionally pleased to have the business as a BRONZE Sponsor.
Heydon Priest Ltd the BP Service Station in Oakura has been there for as long as I can remember. The original owner, Ash Heydon, still opens the doors at 6.30am every day. Not bad for a man in his 80’s. Ash is supporting AmeriCARna as a 'Friend of AmeriCARna' and will also be attending the event in his stock ’38 Dodge as he has done since 2007.
The Copthorne Hotel Grand Central has signed on as a 'Preferred Accommodation Provider'. They are conveniently situated in the CBD only minutes from Devon Street and have excellent off street parking, accommodation, restaurant and bar.
As you all know by now, the theme for Saturday evening is Rock n Roll and, of course, a big part of that era was the HAIR. Claire and her team from Vanity Case will be available to assist with your 1950's styling. They will be at the Centre City Shopping Centre during the AmeriCARnival and, with no appointment necessary and very realistic prices, you can have the 'LOOK' in no time. For more information CLICK HERE.
Attention South Islanders:
With one Inter-Island Ferry out of action, potentially for some time, there are some major issues in getting to the North over the Summer so, if you intend coming to AmeriCARna and you haven’t booked your crossing or are having difficulty with your booking, CLICK HERE. We may be able to help.
That’s all for now, but remember..........
Two wrongs don’t make a right – but three lefts do!!
